Once Again, I Am Befuddled By The Modern World

"Trailers" for books is enough of a thing now that somebody is giving out awards for them?  At an actual awards ceremony?  I've never even watched one of these things.  When I see the words "book trailer", I picture something like this or this (the last one is really more of a "book truck", I guess).  I have no idea what's going on anymore.
